Where sea shells and driftwood are art: my Washington Holiday

I just got back from a five day trip to the Washington Coast. We stayed in a place called the 'tree fort' outside of Ocean Shores.  It was a beautiful, barren, lonely beach this time of year.   I think living on the sea would change a lot about a person: your art, clothes, hair style, past times, relationships and probably even your theology.  These are the kinds of ideas that fill my mind when my toes sink into the cool sand, my hair is whipped out of my pony tail and I can't make out the sky from the sea.

Chahalis – A Wish Come True!

I had the pleasure of meeting two gorgeous young women today.  Chahalis was enjoying her wish trip, granted by  Make-A-Wish BC & YK, which included a shopping spree, a make-over and a photo shoot with her best friend Maria.  I was the lucky photographer who got to spend an hour documenting this very special wish come true.  Below is a sneak peak of some of my favorites for the girls.  Enjoy!

Jessica + Martyn: Vancouver Rowing Club

Wah Hooooo!  What a wedding.  Jess and Marty tied the knot at the Vancouver Rowing Club in Stanley Park on August 15th, a scorcher to say the least.  It was evident what a loving family and adoring friends these two have.  Lara and I wish you the very best in your life together.  What a privilege to stand witness and document your special day.  A larger slide show can be found at our Little Bird Weddings site. Here's my sneak:
